Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coating is not "magic paint." It doesn't fix bad prep, and it won't hide defects. What it does do is add durable protection that makes maintenance easier: improved chemical resistance, better hydrophobic behavior, and reduced contamination bonding when the surface is properly corrected and prepped.
The Key is Prep
The key is prep. Coating a swirled, contaminated surface just locks those defects in. We typically recommend correction first (as needed), then a thorough decontamination and panel wipe so the coating bonds correctly. Done right, you get a finish that stays cleaner, washes easier, and holds gloss longer.
Realistic Expectations
We also set realistic expectations: ceramic coating reduces maintenance, but it doesn't make the car scratch-proof. Safe wash habits still matter. The coating is a protective layer that works best when the owner treats it like a system, not a miracle.
If you care about keeping a premium finish looking premium, coating is a smart move.
